I was told to write on my Blogger about my opinions and views regarding the films we watch in class. I particularly don’t find an interest in experimental film. I feel that I have trouble understanding it and critiquing it. Out of the Films we've watched so far, I would have to say that one of my favorites has been Market Street. The way the Film is put together is rather interesting, I would say that the mere fact of shooting many frames at once and putting them together is what made them more interesting. Editing them and putting them in succession created interesting results. The use of images was interesting as well, leading lines on the images gave the film itself a mood. A mood I would say in a way represents mystery, and curiosity.

i'm glad to see you getting started on your blog! don't be afraid to write about the films you don't understand and/or just don't like as well. sometimes these films tell us as much or more than the ones we love. (ever seen teh old movie Gilda? there's a line in it that goes "hate is a very exciting emotion, isn't it?") you can also write here about things outside of class that you do like--trying to compare/or relate them to ideas from class. i'm looking forward to hearing more.
